Streamlined - Lightroom Preset Pack
This preset pack was created to achieve the desired result in three steps:
1 Choose the preset;
2 Adjust the intensity;
3 Apply minor tweaks.
The presets were developed to work with any camera brand, even your phone. Various sample images from different gear were used during the creation of this pack.
DESCRIPTION
I have never been a big fan of preset packs with dozens of options. While it is often marketed as added value, in my experience, no matter how many presets a pack has, I usually end up using only some of them.
Because of that, and because I like to keep things simple and easy, I tried to limit the number of presets (7 in total) while still including enough to cover a wide range of different styles.
This way, you can spend less time editing photos and more time actually taking them.
Of course, that 19th preset might be useful for one very specific photo someday, but creating presets meant to be used once every five hundred photos was not my goal here.
THE PRESETS:
Disposable Chic: inspired by the nostalgic aesthetic of disposable cameras, but without making your photo look disposable.
Time Machine: an attempt to recreate the atmosphere found in old photographs, but with a contemporary touch.
Moody: every pack needs its dramatic, introspective preset. Moody is here to fill the mystery quota.
Expired Film: featuring more washed-out colors, this preset is inspired by the unpredictable charm of expired film rolls.
Go-to 1 and Go-to 2: these presets were created based on two of the more basic editing styles I tend to follow. The need for two versions comes from the difference in the mood I am at the moment of editing.
Highlight Nostalgia: based on an editing style I have been really enjoying lately, this preset brings a nostalgic and warm atmosphere, with a reddish tones in the highlights.
FILE FORMAT:
The download includes a folder with the presets on both “.xmp” and “.dng” formats, so you could add them via Lightroom desktop or mobile.
In the same folder, there is a “.pdf” file with some tips and considerations.
